You are responsible for
Clinical product application insight & validation:
Develop in-depth knowledge on MR clinical application technology and clinical solutions.
Define and participate actively in clinical research- and concept & feasibility projects for the assigned application, both in-house and with external clinical partners.
Core team member in PRP/PDML for Application implementation of products, solutions and services.
Develop functional specifications and feature/function prioritization that meet the needs of target customer segments together with the Product Manager.
Ensure that products / solutions are designed according agreed user needs with optimal protocol setting for the clinical application area.
Ensure a consistent and common user experience across all elements of the products.
Deliver appropriate DHF contributions to R&D according QMS. Trouble shooting on application level where R&D involvement and solutions are needed.
Competitive product analysis:
Keep up to date with innovations in technology and medical applications, via scientific literature, symposia and international conferences
Collaborates with medical doctors and Operators in evaluating new clinical applications of technology
Specific Role: Clinical Specialist for Installed Base Solutions:
Develops clinical and workflow expertise in one or more clinical area(s).
Creates and maintains a network of key collaborative customers for the purpose of co-creation clinical and product solutions
Responsible for analyzing and solving clinical product defects.
Responsible for analyzing clinical customer feedback in a structural way.
Helps develop a clinical Installed Base solutions roadmap.
Ensures that specific User Needs are met for a given solution.
Responsible for Quality of the validation of these solutions.
Delivers content for creating training.
Helps creation of appropriate clinical downstream marketing content.
You are a part of
The global Clinical Applications department within the BiU MRI at Philips. Its members act as the representative of the MRI end user in the Philips organization. The department is responsible for clinical product application insights and validation, as well as substantiation of the clinical roadmaps. Provides content for education and training materials as well as preset MR sequences and workflows for the different product offerings.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
At least a bachelor degree;
Trained and/or educated in the MR/Radiology environment
An experienced MR Operator or (Field) Applications Specialist > 5 years
Clinical knowledge/experience is a must
Knowledge of MR physics
Business knowledge is a pre
Knowledge on MR system design is a pre
Knowledge or Experience in design validation processes is a pre
Systematic data-driven way of working, problem solving attitude
Excellent communication skills on various levels and disciplines, both internal and external;
Fluent in English, verbal and in writing.
