be part of the Quality & Regulatory team and working on projects with focus on improvement of product reliability and quality. Also, improve critical processes for meeting regulation requirements and improving compliance.
To manage Design Quality Assurance technical leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with Quality System and regulations that govern product development activities within the Image Guided Therapy Systems Business Unit. You are managing a team of about 12 people (located in Best and 2 people in India). This position in mainly strategy driven and we need a people manager for this challenging position!
You are responsible for
Ensuring that appropriate quality plans are made that include all stages of the life cycle of the product and supports Quality Plan design
Driving Product reliability improvements in New projects to meet Quality Norm
Validating key design inputs like: usability, reliability, performance, supportability, manufacturability, localizability, safety, security, privacy, serviceability, sustainability and costs
Providing effective oversight of the execution of the Quality Plan, any Risk Management activities, and of all design related activities during the product/system lifecycle
Performing independent technical assessment on product quality performance and post-market product quality analysis
Can Lead quality related problem solving and root cause analysis during design and manufacturing
Using post-market analytics and statistics to report on product quality performance in the field (provide feedback to manufacturing, suppliers or design teams) and initiates field actions when required
Acting as a single point of contact (person assigned to project team) responsible to ensure that hardware design meets quality and compliance standards for every milestone
Responsible for building and leading a Quality Engineering competence: organizing, leading Quality Engineering activities on organization unit level.
You are a part of
IGT System Q&R team. This team consists of various functions Quality and Regulatory and you will work closely with these functions based on specific projects. You will be part of the global Philips Q&R organization and will be reporting to the Q&R head of IGT Systems.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality and Regulatory with some medical device experience is a requirement
A Masters or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Quality or Business Management
Product Quality, Quality assurance and Design control experience is a requirement
Experience in a larger multinational company is required
Leadership experience and good change management and influencing skills (required)
Strong strategical skills is a must
Ability to train, coach and motivate people.
Enthusiastic and able to act on own initiative
Excellent organizational skills to lead and track deliverables
Strong influencing skills; power of persuasion, perseverance, getting things done mentality.
Experience/certified in project & change management
