In this role, you have the opportunity to

You will lead the transformation within Imaged Guided Therapy needed to effectively address the needs of hospital administrators, in the area of efficiency improvements and driving the creation of new services, business models and associated capabilities, e.g. in the area of consultancy services.

You are responsible for

  • Strengthen Philips Image Guided Interventions / Therapy (IGT) capabilities to better understand and effectively address the needs of hospital administrators, complementing current clinical segment-focused approach

  • Drive creation of efficiency propositions for interventional suites, focusing on operational efficiency and ROI of the interventional departments. Define associated requirements for IGT Innovation/R&D roadmap

  • Establish and lead a (virtual) team that can deliver the economic claims/proof points, working closely together with clinical science, clinical marketing, service, regional field marketing/sales support, Markets (application, sales) and the US Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) sales organization

  • Drive creation of new services/business models that help customers optimize their business results (e.g. consultancy services, new customer service models), working closely together with other groups in Philips, e.g. Customer Service, Professional Services

  • Drive pilots for delivering consultancy services to customers. Evaluate the business potential and advise on the optimal strategy, business model and organizational setup for Philips to deliver such services

  • Establish consultancy methodology and tooling as needed (e.g. quick scan, real-time workflow and procedure cost dashboards, best practice benchmarks)

  • Demonstrate financial value of claims/proof points and consultancy services to the overall IGT business, i.e. make impact measurable in terms of market share increase, ASP premium, and revenues from new business models

You are a part of

The central Cathlab Managed Services (CLMS) team which is part of the Image Guided Therapy Business group of Philips. The IGT BG is a highly successful team, with the aspiration to be the leader in Image Guided Therapy by helping customers Decide , Guide , Treat and Confirm the right therapy for each patient in real time during the procedure by providing complete procedural solutions and by partnering with our customers throughout the lifecycle.

Particularly for that last part of the ambition the department of Cathlab Managed Services (CLMS) has been set up. With CLMS we aim to establish partnerships with our customers that empower them to improve their clinical, operational and financial performance. We aspire to achieve such partnerships through a 'Suite' of CLMS modules that can be leveraged to offer a tailored solution for the customer.

The central CLMS team provides the general framework, the tools, processes as well as the business support to the commercial teams in the Markets by providing expertise, content and deal support.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Msc degree in business (MBA preferred)

  • Minimum of 10 years work experience in Health sector and/or Consultancy with focus on efficiency and business improvement

  • Track record in transforming market and customer feedback into concrete solutions and services

  • Experienced in creating and implementing successful service propositions

  • People Management experience

  • Strong analytical skills, customer focus, passion for improvement

  • Fluent in English language, willing to travel 30%
