Philips E-Commerce Catalogue Manager in Best, Netherlands

build on the future of our Direct Online Channels with B2B & B2C. Philips has ambitious plans for Direct Online and especially Philips Store: we want to craft relationships and direct sales with our customers. Our seek is to provide customers an excellent omni-channel experience giving them the best content, assortment and service, easy ordering and creative propositions & solutions.

The key challenge for this role as eCommerce Catalogue Manager for Philips Services and Solutions Delivery will be to support our markets to build, maintain and optimize the best in class Catalogue for all online channels ie. Philips Store and EDI.

This role will need to engage very closely with the Philips Store Business Marketing team, local Market Store managers and with the different product managers and the colleagues of Enterprise Information Management (EIM).

You are responsible for

Managing and Optimizing the eCommerce Catalogue which entails

  • Defining the portfolio to be sold via our ecommerce platforms – that will be based on a clear roadmap being crafted and owned by you, aligning:

  • Historical demand and installed base

  • Local business needs shared by store managers across markets

  • Business priorities shared by business group leads

  • Working closely with Content Manager to:

  • Develop priority list of products for which rich content (e.g., demo clips, user controlled interactive content) is built

  • Ensure that product onboarding roadmap is supported by a content development roadmap

  • Owning the End-to-End process of onboarding and offboarding products on our eCommerce platforms including:

  • Developing and streamlining the process by which new products are onboarded onto the ecommerce platform

  • Managing master data setting for configurable products by coordinating the process and working closely together with product management, sales enablement and EIM.

  • Providing inputs to Digital and PPL teams to simplify & automate onboarding process

  • Supporting store-managers in trouble-shooting any issues with getting new products on ecommerce platforms

  • Working with teams from across extended Philips (Business Groups, Supply Chain Managment, Marketing, E-commerce, IT, EIM, Markets) to get our products available on ecommerce platforms as soon as possible

  • Drive operational excellence for this process (LEAN) and make sure we can actively manage portfolios across many ecommerce platform in many markets.

  • Reporting results in a timely manner, and providing regular updates to all partners on status and progress of online catalogue

You are a part of

As eCommerce Catalogue Manager you will be part of the Global Channel and Capability team - a group of dedicated professionals who are based in multiple countries across Europe and in USA. You will report into the Philips Services and Solutions Delivery Marketing Team.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or eCommerce environment -preferably in the field of catalogue and/or data management

  • Thorough data management and analytical skills to manage a growing database of products

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Access)

  • Proficiency in learning new software and tools to perform tasks

  • Proven analytical skills, project management skills and attention to detail

  • Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage

  • Professional team player who takes ownership of tasks and who seeks and accepts other responsibilities

  • Not afraid of working self paced in a virtual team
