In this role, you have the opportunity to
Lead a group of integration, verification and test automation engineers in Best (The Netherlands) with a great drive to improve the quality and reliability of the MR products.
You are responsible for
Leading a group of integration and verification engineers with people management as core responsibility
Aligning the MR product roadmap with the MR SIV roadmap, setting clear priorities and direction
Cost and quality control of the work products coming from the group
Ensuring regulatory compliance, time and quality (including process quality) of program deliverables within budget by mobilizing available resources
Manage business contacts with internal and external stakeholders
Drive a culture of customer focused innovations and efficiency focused innovations within the group
Deliver on all functional responsibilities including coaching, competency management, performance management, succession planning, staffing, management of undesired attrition, etc.
You are a part of
Business Unit Magnetic Resonance (MR) which is a leading supplier for first line screening technology in hospitals. MR is one of the youngest and most innovative imaging technologies and the business is growing in applications and in complexity of the system.
The MR R&D System Integration and Verification (SIV) department works in close corporation with the other R&D departments (e.g. Hardware, Software) and Marketing and Service organizations in order to integrate and verify the MR products. The department has a global footprint with sites in Europe and Asia.
The SIV group in Best is responsible for integration and verification of specific subsystems and system functionality of the MR products.
The team consists of a group of highly competent people with a broad integration and verification experience in different technical and medical domains.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor or Master of Science Degree with a broad technical understanding and interest
10+ years of experience in the integration and verification domain, initially as engineer and later in a group or project management role
Strong communication and people management skills are essential
Experience in a high tech R&D environment
Technical exposure in test design to make proposals for strategy building for the group is essential
Track record in working in a multinational setting
First experience in medical device industry and/or other highly regulated industries (e.g. FDA, ISO, IEC, CE) - preferred
Exposure to high complexity, low volume industry (configuration management, production technology, test strategies) - preferred
