Instructional Designer within Service Education will work with business, subject matter experts and course developers to design educational materials for our 5000+ Field Service Engineers both internal and external to Philips.
Develop the emv-learning courses using existing web standards and innovate using new methodologies as they become available for delivery to any mobile device in order to expand use of media and technology-rich learning as appropriate.
Implement the necessary operating procedures to formalize, professionalize and standardize emv-learning content creation for customer product training and education.
Train and support subject matter experts to use technology and software required to author their own emv-learning courses.
Skills and Experience:
Must have 5+ years’ experience in eLearning and instructional design of learning content
Master’s degree in education or related field preferred
Expert demonstrable skills in the following areas: instructional simulations, instructional animations, multimedia and video production, and complete emv-learning course development
Solid knowledge of adult learning theory, the science of e-learning instruction,
Knowledge and skill in the implementation of elearning in LMS / LCMS web environments a plus.
Proven ability to define an appropriate project plan in order to create an effective emv-learning course within an agreed timeframe and agreed budget
Individual must have strong problem solving skills and be able to provide solutions to users quickly and effectively and must be able to multi-task
Must have strong verbal and written communications skills and be able to effectively work in a virtual cross-functional team environment.
