Manages as a Project Manager projects which lead to innovations in a main SCM process. Manages own project team, mostly via a small number of Project Leaders.

Accent is on innovation and realization of one main SCM process, including setting strategic direction. Duration 1 year. Manages one complex project, with severe changes.

Acts at a limited number of different international sites.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be part of the Supply chain organization of the Diagnostic and Treatment Business. Our organization is responsible for Sales and operations planning, Order management, Logistics and Customer project management within manufacturing, testing and delivery of Radiology systems, upgrades, options and spare parts.

You will identify and drive improvement programs to increase On time to promise (OTTP) and optimize logistic costs (warehousing and distribution) in the D&T systems supply chain.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze IWD costs (warehousing, distribution) and identify opportunities in the Global Supply Chain;

  • Driving problem solving for IWD costs;

  • Driving problem solving on logistic performance;

  • Formulating the overall project plan in consultation with the stakeholders;

  • Defining the risks of the project (w.r.t. specs, costs, planning, etc) and developing scenarios to overcome these risks;

  • Organizing the project and arranging the management of activities in terms of quality, time, money, information, and organization;

  • As project leader directing employees and giving them operational guidance, both technically and Organizationally (where necessary, directs sub-Project Leaders);

  • Reporting on the progress of the project with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and money to senior management and to the project members;

  • Ensuring that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge.

Your team

You are part of the IWD & Order management team within the D&T Supply Chain organization. You will report into the head of D&T global logistics and order management.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master/Bachelor degree in supply chain / physical distribution is preferred; Bachelor degree need to be combined with sufficient experience with a minimum of 5 years in a project manager’s role in a hectically and dynamical environment

  • Supply Chain Management background

  • Analytical skills

  • Experience with managing teams

  • Experience in change management

  • Project management or management skills of improvement programs;

  • Familiar with the LEAN terminology and way of working

  • Able to work in an international environment;

  • A person who is willing to drive the process rather than being part of the process. Experience with SAP is a pre

  • Pro active and self starter

  • Good communicator in English both verbal and written

  • A strong customer focus and the ability to deal with a large variety of activities and different stakeholders;
