In this role, you have the opportunity to

Within the SP&R team you are responsible for the realization of Safety, Quality delivery inventory and Productivity goals. You are also responsible for managing the team and will coach them into an individual, all round and flexible team that is capable of dealing with the dynamic customer needs. You will own the planning of the production cells and you are responsible of signalizing stagnation in the process. You will also work towards a structural solution and/ or involve other departments

You are responsible for

  • Manages in full the daily operations of a large sized group, mostly with one main type of activity, which requires skilled workers (typically in job grades 30-40) to perform the tasks.

  • Initiates and leads improvements himself and is responsible for safety within his own group.

  • Main focus is on progress in the work, adherence to the time schedules and possible improvements.

  • Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.

  • Works on issues of limited scope Assesses feasibility of time schedule and negotiates planning with parties involved.

  • Determines division of work, and controls quality.

  • Works frequently together with disciplines outside his group and also manages these in an operational sense.

  • Appraises the employees himself and has knowledge and experience of management within the hierarchy.

  • Escalates issues to higher level Manager.

  • Is involved in budget preparation.

You are a part of

In this role you will directly report to the Senior Manager Service Parts & Repair IGT Systems. Your team exists out of Shopfloor controllers, technicians, testers and troubleshooters (a total of 13 FTE).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Collaboration: Work together and learn (intrinsic)

  • Quality & Compliance Mindset & Execution

  • Typically requires an advanced degree with > 10 years of related experience.

  • Good verbal and written knowledge of the Dutch language (and English)

  • Experienced in fixing IGT components

  • Knowledge of the logistic process within IGT
