Philips Marketing Portfolio Leader Vascular & Radiology, Image Guided Therapy (IGT) in Best, Netherlands

The Radiology portfolio marketing leader IGT, will lead the IGT Cluster (including cross-category) efforts in developing a fact-based "Where to Play" and "How to Win“ portfolio strategy for the Radiology franchise of IGT, which also includes leading and developing a One IGT Vascular strategy . You will represent IGT in the HS Radiology portfolio team and ensure the IGT Cluster strategic plan is reflected in the Philips HS Radiology plan. This leader will deliver on the processes (including 24 month marketing planning), and ensure consistency in marketing excellence and execution while also focusing on customer success criteria in the space.

You are responsible for

Developing the E2E strategy and plan for the IGT Radiology portfolio, including a strong focus on the Vascular domain that IGT plays in with and across both the Systems and Devices portfolios. This includes, a thorough opportunity assessment of the space, including a deep , gap analysis and formulation of the strategy and plan through the leveraging of a IGT radiology core team made up of business/category leaders and respective product managers, innovation, clinical science etc, and the broader members of the Cluster marketing team to ensure a thorough plan is executed both in-cluster, cross cluster and in the markets

  • Deliver an annual cross-category marketing plan per business including input into integrated value proposition (at the persona and audience level) and the overall portfolio strategy (at business level). Work with category leaders to develop portfolio investment strategy, including portfolio choices and rationalization, based on our “ability to win” in prioritized market segments for that business

  • Translate Cluster marketing strategy to business level, identify new solutions offerings in collaboration with the Category Leads and I2M per business.Assist in proof-of-concept testing of these new solutions/business models with targeted customers.Develop strategic reference sites to help build brand awareness and asset library (i.e. proof points) at business level

  • In partnership with key markets, generate and update customer (persona: user, influencer, buyer) segmentation based on customer decision journeys and value drivers to accelerate profitable growth

  • Drive and help formulate necessary market conditioning / shaping strategies consistent with Source of Business (which may include claims roadmap, pre and post market studies and market access/health economics components) across categories, per business in close collaboration with CMO and BDM

  • In alignment with head of cluster marketing and with support of the IGT cluster marketing team, develop business promotional plans (including messaging) and integrate into cluster plans

  • Develop a business level (User focused) Peer to Peer engagement plan via advisory boards, focus groups, global events etc. in close collaboration with the Cluster Engagement and Content Creation teams

  • Drives Return on marketing investments (A&P) for business, and serves as first point of contact for business leader for marketing ROI

  • Potentially double-hats ownership of cross-business customer/clinical segments including alignment of customer engagement and -decision journey with other businesses

  • Champions marketing capability building within businesses as per Philips marketing capability framework

  • Day to day business contact point for assigned & co-located resources from Insights & Analytics COE

  • You will represent IGT on the HS Radiology portfolio team and ensure that the IGT radiology (and Vascular) strategy is captured in the overarching HS strategy and executed accordingly to benefit both PHL HS and IGT

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University level education in the area of Business/Commerce and 10-15 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience in leading large marketing strategies and programs in complex organizations. Experience in managing the commercial function in a large, complex organization.

  • Relevant clinical domain knowledge will be highly valued

  • Experience in change management, as it relates to the culture and mind set of a complex organization, including capabilities building

  • Proven track record as (senior) leader in a large global matrix organization with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Track record of working with ambiguity
