Philips Order to Fulfilment Leader IGT Systems in Best, Netherlands

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Play a key role in the delivery strategy and execution of the Healthcare Systems businesses, in particular the IGT Systems business, and at the same time represent these businesses in the global Operations leadership team. This Order to Fulfilment Lead will focus on four main areas: S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), Product Industrialization, Product Installation and Delivery strategy. Driving operational excellence, efficiency, availability, quality and lead-time and developing long-term plans to support business expectations. Other key areas are building Design for Manufacturing (DFM)/ Design for Supply Chain Management (DfSCM) processes, technology roadmaps, core/non-core assessments, make-or-buy decisions, CAPEX investments, customizations strategies, first-time-right NPI and establishing a culture of continuous improvement.

You are responsible for

  • Developing and driving the Order to Cash (O2C) strategy, aligned with business strategic plan of record (SPOR) in strong collaboration with the overall Philips O2C and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Strategy

  • Developing downstream supply chain on capacity planning and reservation (insourced MFG but also Suppliers), investment in skills/equipment long term planning that supports business expectations on comparable sales growth (CSG)/Margin

  • Leading the executive S&OP decision making process for the business in tight cooperation with the ISC (focus on long term strategic decision making)

  • Optimal lead time, quality and lower costs, including strategies for subassemblies, late stage customization, merge strategies, etc.

  • Ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness of Operations through New products DFM and other standards and tools

  • Driving total cost of ownership (TCO) performance collaboratively (SCM, Factory, Procurement Engineering, Commodity Management functions, Q&R and Health & Safety) based on metrics, root cause analysis and root cause corrective actions

  • Aligning and providing competent resources and resource capabilities with R&D leader and ISC focusing on Design for manufacturability. Design for Supply Chain and Design for Automation.

  • Coordinating E2E (equipment) inventory

  • Ensuring that Operation and Supply escalations are properly addressed

  • Managing a team of people in the 4 sub teams that were mentioned above

  • Developing and sharing operations talent and managing a pipeline of talent for the entire Supply Chain organization

Your performance will be measured by various metrics like the On time To Promise metric as well as Capex spend, Factory Cost Price, Lead Times Optimization, and various others.

You are a part of

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline

  • 10+ years of progressive experience within Manufacturing Engineering/ Product Industrialization, including experience in holding operations/supply chain leadership roles

  • Experience in demand planning and sales and operation planning preferable

  • 8-10 years of direct people management

  • 5-10 years of international experience (job with global influence)

  • Proven experience and mastery of Operational Excellence, LEAN, & Six Sigma

  • Experience in optimizing Manufacturing footprint

  • Experience in managing business cases transition (internal/outsourced)
