In this role, you have the opportunity to
Procurement Engineer represents Procurement in the Business, has an in-depth understanding of the product context “End-to-End” is responsible for delivering on the Business Procurement strategies, including the utilization of DFX. Within this role, you are leading the sourcing program from E2E with transformation programs.
You are responsible for
Being as the procurement program manager, lead the overall sourcing and supply base transformation programs on the selected components, categories and assemblies to the low-cost countries with close collaboration with a cross-functional team;
Ensures the TCO (cost, quality, availability) optimization in product and business creation and through their full life cycle, utilizing DFX;
PE drives the sourcing plan, leading supplier selection and ensuring adherence to the Business Procurement strategy;
Drives early supplier involvement and identifies cost drivers to influence design decision making and achieve target costing;
Collaborate with Supplier Quality in the new supplier/component release process, including compliance and sustainability aspects;
Support price negotiations with opportunities.
You are a part of
The procurement engineering team focusing on Healthtech / MR, you will be reporting directly towards the Procurement Engineering Business Partner MR BIU.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master degree in a relevant technical discipline (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering etc);
Program management experience within Procurement is a big plus. Preferable 5 years of experience within Procurement or Program management.
Solid understanding of sourcing in East Europe or APAC;
Process engineering, PBCA, and Electrical and mechanical are familiar to you;
Experience with Supplier quality, product development is a plus;
Fluent in Business English;
