In this role, you have the opportunity to
Use your technical and communication skills to optimize production processes by early involvement during the design phases of Medical Device products. You can leverage your influence by coaching the Product Industrialization team and being an ambassador for Design for Manufacturability, Assembly and Test.
In this role you will be part of the Product Industrialization organization of IGT Systems and will contribute to drive new Medical Device products introductions in Operations and Supply Chain to support our IGT customers and patients as well as our IGT business.
You are an ambassador for Design for Manufacturability Assembly and Test and Lean manufacturing.
You translate the manufacturing roadmap and needs into work packages for the IGT business program and related projects.
You coach Product Industrialization Engineers on their technical and process skills.
You represent Industrialization in design concept phases of projects and secure alignment of product concept and manufacturing roadmap.
You initiate manufacturing technology innovations and oversee the implementation.
You cooperate with other Engineering teams to standardize the engineering activities across production locations.
You support projects where required during Advance Product Quality Planning or optimization of supplier production processes.
You participate in improving and optimizing the Production Industrialization aspects of the Quality Management System.
You initiates Capex optimization for initial investments for industrialization projects.
You ensure adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications and release
You are part of
You will be part of Product Industrialization Engineering group and report within the Product Industrialization group.
You will be working closely with managers and teams from other functions like manufacturing, quality, supply chain, configuration management, sustaining engineering in conjunction with PMO, R&D and cross-functional project teams.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master of engineering (mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, operations & supply chain management).
10 years of related working experience, ideally in highly regulated industries.
Extensive experience in DfMAT, FMEA, Method Validations and Lean.
Strong stakeholder management.
Strong personal and communication skills.
Ability to think in concepts and see the big picture.
Change management skills
Taking ownership of decisions and actions
You travel if required (max 5%)
English mandatory, Dutch preferred
