In this role, you have the opportunity to
Organize, build, improve and manage a team of about 8 employees as well as being responsible for the operational performance of your team. You will build, organize and lead the team which will be responsible for the design, assembly, improvement and testing of the 7.0T Spare Parts and Collaboration Office Parts to guarantee the satisfaction of our highly visible 7T customers. You will be the contact for our 7T customers and the worldwide service organization.
You are responsible for
The newly created 7T Spare Parts /Collaboration Office Parts team within Factory Best, transforming the way of working to adhere to state-of-the-art procedures and practices;
To achieve this you will create a (project) plan in accordance with goals and timelines as formulated by management;
Your team will consist of operational and engineering colleagues. You will lead the team in executing the plan, actively improving and guaranteeing quality and maintaining agreed budget and timelines;
Coaching and motivating your team members is of crucial importance in attaining excellent results;
Communication and accurate reporting will take place by means of weekly overviews, KPIs, whiteboard meetings, SAP, budget, progress, timelines and discussions with the Operations leader and Collaboration Office Leader;
The planning of tasks and personnel. Coordinating, redirecting where required and ensuring adequate staffing. In addition you ensure that sufficient knowledge and skills are present in the team, are documented and further developed to build, improve and re-design 7T/Collaboration office (spare) parts;
Escalation of issues and, wherever possible, resolution of technical and quality issues;

As Project Manager and Team lead will be part of Operations. You will report to the Operations Leader CR&R, who reports to the Site Leader of Factory Best, Philips’ largest healthcare production location.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Must have an academic qualification in a technical field and have proven managerial/leadership experience. You should be flexible, driven and have a strong sense of responsibility;
An aptitude for working with people and good social and communication skills are important in this role;
As a project manager you are experienced in executing technically complicated, muti-discipliary projects;
You are a team player, can coach and motivate others and have a proactive, independent work ethic;
You have experience with LEAN;
Good command of Dutch and English;
Experience in a medical device production environment is an advantage;
Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP computer skills;
