In this role, you have the opportunity to
Join Philips Healthcare and be responsible for the development and the introduction of new products within our Image Guided Therapy (IGT) or Diagnostic X-Ray (DXR) business. Being the representative of Operations in multi-disciplinary teams, you will contribute in driving new Medical Device Products introductions in Operations and Supply Chain to support our customers and patients as well as our business. You are responsible for
Leading multi-disciplinary (supply chain) teams to introduce products and product improvements from R&D to Operations globally
Defining, implementing new/changed processes and leading the first production models
Defining, executing, controlling and documenting all process validation activities and related activities
Leading new products life cycle activities and manufacturing transfer projects within our IGT or DXR business.
Creating and maintaining manufacturing documents (e.g. work instructions) and providing training
Coaching, mentoring and engaging the multi-functional team you work with, lead them by influence
Coordinating activities to meet project objectives (scope, quality, compliance, cost, timing)
Driving performance and continuous improvement
Applying and developing Lean/Six Sigma, DFX (Design for Excellence)/ DFM (Design for Manufacturing) methodologies
You are a part of
The Product Industrialization group and report to the Product Industrialization Leader. As Project or Manufacturing Engineer Industrialization you are dedicated to work with our challenging IGT or DXR system products.
You work closely with managers and teams from other functions like manufacturing, quality, supply chain, configuration management, sustaining engineering in conjunction with PMO and R&D, multi-functional project teams. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor/Master of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics)
At least 2 to 5 years’ experience in Production/Process, Manufacturing Engineering or Project Management in a global company with interactions between R&D and Operations
Experience in design transfer and manufacturing transfer projects
Experience with FMEA, 8D, SPC, Lean Manufacturing
Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work and influence multi-functional teams
Good knowledge of product realization process, global supply chain organization and industrial footprint.
Meaningful experience working with continuous improvements
Stay positive and calm when facing challenges, problem-solver
Understanding of project management and stakeholder management
