In this role, you have the opportunity to
Join the Quality & Regulatory team and working on projects with focus on improvement of critical processes and initiatives for meeting regulation requirements and improving compliance.
To lead a team of about 8 Quality Assurance professionals and keep guidance to ensure compliance with Quality System and regulations that govern product development activities within the Image Guided Therapy Systems Business Unit.
You are responsible for
Ensures that appropriate quality plans are made that include all stages of the life cycle of the product and supports Quality Plan design
Validates key design inputs like: usability, reliability, performance, supportability, manufacturability, localizability, safety, security, privacy, serviceability, sustainability and costs
Provides effective oversight of the execution of the Quality Plan, any Risk Management activities, and of all design related activities during the product/system lifecycle
Performs independent technical assessment on product quality performance and post-market product quality analysis
Can Lead quality related problem solving and root cause analysis during design and manufacturing
Uses post-market analytics and statistics to report on product quality performance in the field (provide feedback to manufacturing, suppliers or design teams) and initiates field actions when required
Act as a single point of contact (person assigned to project team) responsible to ensure that hardware design meets quality and compliance standards for every landmark
Responsible for building and leading a Quality Engineering competence: organizing, leading Quality Engineering activities on organization unit level.
Provides multi-functional leadership for the Product Quality function in all aspects of the Business Unit or Market initiatives
You are a part of
IGT System Q&R team. This team consists of various functions Quality and Regulatory and you will work closely with these functions based on specific projects. You will be part of the global Philips Q&R organization and will be reporting to the Q&R head of IGT Systems.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A Masters or Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Quality or Business Management
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality and Regulatory with some medical device experience is a requirement
Quality assurance and Design control experience is a requirement
Strong knowledge of Design for Six Sigma tools and its application
Electrical experience is an advantage
Leadership experience and good change management and influencing skills (required)
Experience in a larger multinational company is required
Ability to train, coach and motivate people.
