Our Healthcare Experience team participates in delivering best-in-class, hospital -room and -department solutions. We develop, deliver and maintain connected hardware and software solutions that make a real difference to the patient experience as well as reduce hospital staff workload.
You are responsible for inspiring technological innovation in the Healthcare Experience business by
driving change in innovation, ensuring awareness on latest technology and trends & translating this into a compelling message & plan for the development team;
leading a small (12 fte) multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled technical experts, from ideation phase until introduction at customer site as well as product maintenance (incl. component replacements);
Inspiring, influencing and collaborating with in- and external- stakeholders to develop a long term innovative roadmap for our Healthcare Experience portfolio (Projection and display devices, lighting and user interfaces);
Managing the way of working, processes, resource and budget allocations in the development team;
Managing Q&R product and process requirements (component approbation & process flow);
Including relevant standards for global delivery;
Developing a strong technology network both inside and outside of Philips with suppliers;
Ensuring continuous improvement;
Implementing a user centric approach in the whole development process & inspiring stakeholders to do so.
You are a part of
an innovative and entrepreneurial Healthcare Experience team that operates globally. Our team works according to Agile principles, growing to the Safe (Scaled Agile Framework) processes. Together with the larger Healthcare Experience team which includes among others product marketing, business development, services and operations you will strive for continuous improvement of deliverables and ways of working. Colleagues will challenge and coach you and you should be willing to return the favor.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master degree in engineering (preference software combined with mechanics and/or electronics);
Proven experience influencing & engaging senior leadership into a highly innovative approach;
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a (project) lead in a research and development environment for commercial products (pre: MRI or Lighting design) leading an agile multi-disciplinary team;
Proven track record of translating latest technologies (software, hardware, content, healthcare) into an innovative product roadmap;
You have successfully implemented a user centric approach;
Experience in managing the full cycle from ideation, implementing Quality & Regulatory requirements, product approbation, market introduction to maintenance;
You have the proven ability to build strong relations with various stakeholders & you deliver results in time and budget.
