In this role as sales communications manager, you will define, drive and roll out an effective internal and external communications plan for the business unit IGT Systems.
You will enable the IGT Systems sales team worldwide to have effective conversations with (potential) customers. They will rely on you to easily find their materials and to receive consistent updates about competition, new technologies and best practices. You will be advising your business unit colleagues about effective communication activities to reach our sales people and will work closely together with our colleagues from marketing. You will also be organizing training events and create and maintain internal sales tool.
Besides sales communication, you will support management with the deployment of our vision/strategy and will advise project teams about internal communications. You will maintain our key communication channels and where needed you will support operationally.
You are responsible for
Define and execute an yearly sales communication plan
You will maintain and improve our key communication tools for our sales colleagues. Key tools like SalesPortal, Newsletters, planning of webinars and digital community.
You will explore new internal communication tools, like video messages and interactive PDFs.
Drive (training) events for our sales and business unit colleagues and support of large launch events
You will create input for our key internal communication tools (newsletters, P-cast, intranet) to inform our business unit colleagues about strategy, achievements and projects.
You will advise in several projects in the business unit, like our health program
You are a part of
IGT Systems – BMC team. This team is the linking pin between the business unit and the markets. You will report to the International Business Leader. You will work closely together with two Communications Business Partners.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor/master communications, journalism, marketing, or related disciplines
4 years of relevant working experience in a communications role, preferably in an international matrix organization
Being fluent in English (verbal and written) is a must
Experience in organizing (internal) events
Programs: Expert level in Microsoft Office (mainly PPT), SharePoint, Photoshop (basics), Video editing and design skills are very welcome
Personality: energetic self-starter, can take full ownership of activities and precise and consistent,. Able to work independently and you dare to chase people to meet deadlines. You’re not afraid to ask all questions needed to understand business relevance of a subject.
The entire role requires the capability to combine conceptual thinking with a practical mindset, to bring effective communication tools alive.
