In this role specifically, you will plan, develop and implement all of the Digital and Computational Pathology upstream product marketing strategies. You will lead three Product Management Teams to ensure the strategic product roadmap is delivered. You will be instrumental in growing all the product management activities (computational and digital product management ) in a highly dynamic early stage business.

As a Senior Director of Marketing Digital Pathology Systems, you are responsible for:
Oversee Product Management teams and assure targets, plans and NPI timelines are achieved
Hire, train, develop, mentor and foster talent development of both marketing and product development team resources
Oversee development and implementation of product roadmaps for scanners, software, IT/storage and analytics
Define with Sales supporting material and deployment tools for capital equipment, fee per use and managed services commercial models
Ensure effective planning and coordination with regulatory department

You will oversee three teams (approx. 25 people) of Directors and Managers in the Product Management groups reporting directly to the General Manager of Digital Pathology Solutions. Based in Best, Netherlands the position will be focused on assuring the best people are hired, developed and deployed to drive strategic product development.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor's degree or Master in a Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field of study. Additional advanced degrees are preferred, but not required
At least 15 years relevant experience, Prior general management and/or product management experience of a business, with at least $50M in revenue, including P&L responsibility.
Experience in IVD industry and regulated product development
A global perspective to developing products that meet global and region-specific needs. Strong experience with growing businesses in emerging markets, especially the Middle East, China, Russia, India, and South America.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills and strong oral and written communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and execute a multi-year product development strategy (i.e. a product ‘roadmap’) with clear success stories in developing and launching scientific/medical device products
Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
Proactive attitude, comfortable in a high risk, high reward environment
Global travel required
