Philips Senior Product Manager Image Guided Therapy - Systems - Data enabled Solutions in Best, Netherlands

We have a unique opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to join the highly successful Image Guided Therapy Systems business focusing on the interventional cardiovascular domain. You will enter the multinational environment of the Business Group Image Guided Therapy at Philips Healthcare

You are responsible for

As Product Marketing Manager you will drive the definition, development and introduction of winning propositions for the market of Image Guided Therapy Systems, enabling our customers to deliver the best possible patient care at optimal economical value while performing minimal invasive cardiovascular procedures. By working in close alignment with customers, markets and internal stakeholders, you will strive to continuously improve our integral offerings.

  • Contribute to the definition of the integral proposition based on market- and customer insights, including value proposition, supporting claims, pricing strategy, offer design, target customers and markets.

  • Co-steer the development and delivery of new propositions in cooperation with Key Opinion Leaders, target markets and internal stakeholders (esp. Executives, Marcom, Customer Service, Clinical Specialist, Regulatory Affairs and R&D)

  • Define the launch strategy and drive the global execution in collaboration with the local markets.

Specific for this product management role we like you

  • Lead the value proposition definition of one cloud-based platform for our system, interventional tools and devices including definition of new business models

  • Work with other Business groups (Healthcare IT, etc) to find synergies across Philips on novel IT infrastructures

  • to define solutions and guide the marketing teams with the understanding of the hospital/hospital network infrastructure and the Philips added value in this infrastructure

  • to guide the marketing team to look at marketing through the IT lens including requirements around data security, data connectivity

You are a part of

The cardiovascular system is the core of what we sell in Image Guided Therapy – Systems (IGT-S). The IGT-S organization is responsible for global marketing, development and manufacturing of image guidance solutions in the area of cardiac or vascular medical diagnosis and intervention (e.g. balloon angioplasty and stent procedures). You will be part of the marketing team that is focusing on both upstream and downstream marketing deliverables, including new product development and Go To Market strategies. IGT-S is the global market leader and in the heart of Philips Healthcare. This position is based in Best and you will report to the Sr. Director Product Management.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience


  • Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record.


  • At least 3 years of experience in an international business environment in marketing or product management; ideally in a high tech environment

  • Preference for proven track record in Healthcare market

  • Preference for experience in Healthcare IT, platform development, new business models eg software-as-a-service (Saas)

  • Solid understanding of the (IT) platforms in the hospital/integrated delivery network, the integral workflow and data architecture

  • Experience with definition of value propositions and product launches

  • Highly entrepreneurial and eager with a natural affinity for healthcare business, and a market and customer driven approach to product creation

  • Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Ability to think creatively and pragmatically.

  • Broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.

  • Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to interact with executives and top managers

  • Solid spoken and written English skills
