You are responsible for
As Senior Test Engineer you will participate in preparing and executing component level tests, for both functional as well as non-functional aspects. You have to bring your competences to the limit to design and execute objective, reproducible and maintainable tests in an agile environment. Defining (test) requirements and approaching test automation on unit / sub-system level. You will define (test) requirements and approach test automation on component level. The Integration and System Integration tests are the responsibility of the System Test group.
Based on your interest and specialization, you can make a substantial contribution to the innovation of new products and process. Developing new products, using the latest technologies and resources, often realizing systems based on unverified specifications.
Writing software test specifications and executing tests;
Extending set of test cases and setting up new test specifications;
Translating software test strategy into technical solutions for testing;
Making recommendations with respect to usage of new test techniques, methods and tools;
Determining technical approach of software tests within the project;
Specifying requirements for test tools, to support automated testing & test engineering.
You are a part of

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor/Master in Software Engineering;
5 years of experience as a Test Engineer in a product development environment;
Certified in Software testing (TMAP/ISTQB);
Eager to learn the domain, learn to integrate & apply different methods and techniques;
Creativity, strong visualizations skills and strong & effective communications skills;
Tool experience: SpecFlow, ALM, Team Foundation Server
You’ll receive bonus points for:
Experience with C# and/or C++ Software development
Experience in a mechatronics environment
Experience in a regulated environment
