In this role, you have the opportunity to

Provide scenarios and guidance to the demand and supply balancing on Business Unit level based on your detailed analysis and business knowledge, in such a way that global availability of our medical systems is optimized to deliver against customer orders and to realize our business objectives in terms of revenue, costs and integral inventory levels.

You are responsible for

  • Support the monthly medium and long-term Sales & Operations Planning process in order to prepare in time for capacity creation/reduction, the procurement of long lead-time components and the phase-in/out of suppliers.

  • Develop medium and long term Demand Plans (value and volume) based on statistics and enriched with all relevant input from Markets, Business Market Combination team, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning.

  • Support in driving gap closing initiatives and developing opportunities through scenario planning and risk analysis concerning revenue, costs (e.g. mode of transport, resource capacity) and working capital (inventory) to enable S&OP decision making.

  • Manage the integral inventory levels of the Business Unit (industrial & commercial) with objective to realize the availability targets.

  • Manage systems phase-in/out in close cooperation with Markets, Business Market Combination team, Marketing, Finance and Supply Planning. The aim is to introduce new systems in-time and phase-out systems without obsolete finished goods and component stock.

  • Prepare the S&OP deck as well as relevant analysis to maximize business insights and to facilitate decision-making. Participate in Business Unit S&OP meeting; prepare minutes and actions including follow up. Back-up of the S&OP leader by leading the Business Unit S&OP meetings.

  • Deploy the single agreed plan to all relevant functions, making sure that everyone is working towards the same plan.

  • Initiate and participate in Business Unit and Integrated Supply Chain improvement initiatives.

  • Actively support Business Market Combination/Factory meetings in case of disruptive events, like delivery or quality issues.

  • Support decision making on global allocation in case of supply constraints

You are a part of

The Sales and Operations team IGT (Image Guided Teraphy) and report into the S&OP Director IGT

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills, used to follow structured approach in daily work.

  • Attention to detail and strong eye for quality.

  • from 1 to 3 years relevant working experience in Sales and Operations Planning and/or Supply Chain Management.

  • Demonstrated success in working across organizational boundaries, as well as working in a global organization across various cultures and departments.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, preferably across geographic boundaries.

  • Experience in Equipment business and Manufacturing Excellence is a plus.

  • Understanding of the E2E value chain in Philips Integrated Supply Chain is a plus.
