In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work closely with internal partners and external suppliers mainly located in Europe to develop and implement strategic commodity plans at the lowest total cost (TCO) to meet the defined requirements within the Procurement function.
The scope covers both manufacturing and Service (spare parts) for different Philips sites in Europe. Accountability for overall supplier relationship management in the portfolio including overall cost out, supplier performance, contracting and supplier transfer.
You are responsible for
Manage a supplier portfolio of approximately 85M€ spend on PCBA's dedicated to Personal Health and Medical equipment
Execute the Global strategy, promoting the preferred suppliers with the Business units;
Lead Supplier performance evaluation, drive contract and price negotiations;
Capture relevant benchmark data, supply market intelligence information;
Lead or participate in the RFQ generation and supplier selection process;
Apply continuous improvement of processes & technologies to support materials & service;
Chip into supplier risk identification/assessment and propose mitigation plan, ensuring compliance to procurement policies;
Support the Quality Team regarding supplier Quality assurance document collection.
You are a part of
The Global Commodity Management Team. You report directly to the Regional Commodity Cluster Leader in the Netherlands and will work in close collaboration with the Global Commodity Managers. You will travel frequently and can work from the location in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Drachten or Best).
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master degree (preferably in business and or engineering or any similar);
Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience in an international, highly regulated environment;
Strong partner management skills and the ability to influence without power;
Ability to work in a matrix and remote environment;
Flexible, ability to take care of a changing environment;
Excellent communication skills in English, oral and written;
Excellent negotiation skills;
Willingness to travel up to 30 - 40% (mainly Europe).
