Philips Supply Chain Engineer - Systems & Medical devices in Best, Netherlands

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Create and evaluate new supply chain concepts and scenarios with an end-to-end scope, in line with the Business strategy.

You are responsible for

  • Introduce new concepts in Supply Chain and designs for new or existing value streams, according to the strategy of the business. Your scope will be the global Integrated E2E Supply Chain

  • Organizing and developing analytics towards the defined Supply Chain metrics

  • Develop the Supply Chain network and capabilities based on the inputs from the business group O2C strategy

  • Initiates, coordinates and integrates improvements through projects of Supply Chain process optimization and organizational change within field of expertise

  • Driving inventory reduction initiatives

  • Acts as a Supply Chain expert, supporting and sharing knowledge through support or training

  • Applies advanced analytic techniques such as optimization, simulation, data mining and statistics to design, implement, validate, and refine mathematical models and algorithms to understand, evaluate and optimize supply chain

  • Contribute to the deployment of tactical, financial and operational plans by driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance through Supply Chain analysis and process improvements.

You are a part of

The Supply Chain engineering team for our Systems and Medical Devices business. As we value diversity, we have a lot of resources and an international and multi functional team to support you.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A bachelor or Master Degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management or other meaningful areas.

  • At least 8 years of meaningful working experience in supply chain

  • Strategic skills/conceptual thinking. Able to see and develop the bigger picture

  • A passion for healthcare and new technologies

  • Experience with large scale ERP applications and data repositories

  • Deep understanding of working with continuous improvements

  • Meaningful experience in improvement projects within Supply Chain
