Your challenge

Cardiology is one of the four growth pillars of Philip and we are currently looking for a Release Train Engineer for our Cardiology Informatics (CI) business with a demonstrable knowledge of multiple techniques under both Agile and Lean umbrellas. Our ideal Release Train Engineer will naturally intervene to make things better for the teams, the business and the customers. A servant leader, custodian of Agile and Lean practices and coach for the teams. Major responsibilities are to facilitate the team processes and events and assist the teams in delivering value. Communicate with stakeholders, escalate or remove impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. Facilitating and guiding the work of all teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Manages and optimizes the flow of value through thesolutionsusing various tools,and other information radiators. Encourages collaboration between teams and System & Solution Architects/Engineering/Marketing/Q&R etc.(e.g. continuous delivery pipeline, Lean UX and DevOps)

  • Helps manage risks, dependencies and conflicts and escalates and tracks impediments in alignment with Software Leaders

  • Coaches different stakeholder groups (leaders / Product Owners / teams / Scrum Masters) in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets

  • Facilitates Agile ceremonies such asProgram Increment Planning, by fostering the preparation of Vision at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/vision/ and Backlogs at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/program-and-solution-backlogs/ , and through  pre and post planning at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/pre-and-post-pi-planning/ meetings

  • Facilitates periodic synchronization meetings, including the Scrum of Scrum / ART sync at the Program level at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/program-level/

  • Works with Product Management at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/product-and-solution-management/ , Project at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/product-owner/ Managers, Software Leaders and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment. Assists tracking the execution of features and capabilities

  • Provides transparency and radiates status toall relevant stakeholdersand supports related activities

  • Drives continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/inspect-and-adapt/  workshops; assesses the agility level of theteam and helps them improve

We are looking for

  • First-classcommunication and documentation skills,ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

  • Fluent in English; speaking,reading,andwriting.

  • Proactive, independent, target oriented and self-motivated

  • Previousexperience in coaching and mentoring a team ofdevelopers/testers

  • Good knowledge of Software/quality developmentprocessand control methods;

  • High level of emotional intelligence.

  • Certified ScrumMasterorSAFeAgilistequivalentispreferred

  • Previous experience as a SCRUM Master in a scaled environment, or in an agile role

  • Experienced with servant leadership, confident and inspirational, andis able toconvey goal and purpose, while encouraging self-organization

  • Experience in Software Development (e.g. diverse projects, development, testing, delivery, SW project management,SAFeRTE)

  • Related experience in a medical device or other regulated industry is a plus
