In this role, you have the opportunity to oversee and direct the Vendor Credentialing Program for employees to ensure business continuity while mitigating risk and compliance issues for Philips.

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

External Strategic Partnerships

  • Oversee the Supplier Credentialing Program for the 6,000+ U.S. and International employees working in U.S. Healthcare Organizations (HCO) via Provider in-house, Vendor Credentialing Organization (VCO), and government Credentialing accounts

  • Strategically address change to meet new industry requirements and mitigate risk

  • Build relationships and negotiate solutions with external stakeholders

  • Source and engage support organizations to insure alignment of industry standards and applicable regulations

  • Represent Philips serving on the Board of the Consortium for Universal Healthcare Credentialing (C4UHC)

  • Work in partnership with Providers and employees to satisfy external audit requests

Internal Strategic Problem Solving

  • Collaborate cross functionally to achieve Credentialing goals and objectives

  • Deliver appropriate instruction and documentation to employees to fulfil Credentialing requirements while upholding privacy standards

  • Audit employee Credentialing accounts for terminations, duplicate accounts, and document compliance

  • Review customer contract language concerning Credentialing and advise Contracts and Legal Teams

  • Act as adviser for global and subcontractor Credentialing support

Support Tools and Documentation

  • Plan, budget, and oversee support vendor contracts, POs and payments supporting the Credentialing program

  • Develop and maintain Credentialing Program desk procedures, policies, training, and communication tools

  • Maintain daily activity log covering projects and employee support

  • Monitor productivity and proficiency by performing periodic analysis of Credentialing metrics and audit procedures

  • Perform other duties or responsibilities as necessary or assigned

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including analyzing and interpreting data using Excel formulas

  • Exhibits succinct written and verbal communication skills

  • Passion for positive customer experience, operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Strong organizational skills and aptitude for detail

  • Ability to synthesize data while dealing with continuous change

  • Apply critical thinking methods to resolving complex issues

  • Mediate and negotiate to effectively manage relationships

  • Maintain confidentiality while identifying potential privacy risks

  • Work with minimal supervision while maintaining a high degree of integrity
