In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Lead and manage a team of engineers of various disciplines in the hardware reliability design and testing aspects of Diagnostic Ultrasound products.
Lead and manage a team performing Safety Compliance testing with internal and external lab resources (electrical and mechanical safety, EMI/EMC).
Stakeholder management for project and design related issues.
Develop short and long range resource plans for both people and equipment.
Lead process enhancements and develop guidelines to ensure that quality, governmental, and industry regulations are met.
Resource management of large number of concurrent projects with continuous evaluation of priorities and frequent communication to project teams.
Develop engineering talent and develop new team capabilities internally as well as relationship building with external labs.
Participate in strategic planning for engineering department beyond own team.
3+ years of team leadership and management experience.
5+ years engineering experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics. Advanced degree is a bonus.
Ability to communicate technical information, results, issues, both orally and in writing to various levels of management.
Project planning and organizational skills to allow working through others.
Additional Desirable Skills:
Third party test lab relationship experience.
Reliability engineering methodology and testing experience.
Supplier relationship experience.
Quality Management System knowledge.
Industry standards IEC, ISO, ANSI knowledge.
