Philips Product Security Officer in Bothell, Washington


In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Advance product security design and development across Philips Radiology Solutions by ensuring that our product design/development teams maximize- economic value, design secure products, optimize product security features, performance, manufacturing costs and time to market as we bring life-saving products and services to the world, with unsurpassed quality, security and reliability.

You are responsible for:

  • Identifying Risks throughout the Idea-to-market (I2M) and work with other teams as necessary to provide mitigation and cost/benefit analysis.

  • Ensuring customer security requirements are being addressed within our products.

  • Supporting business initiatives by providing solutions based on best practices, regulatory and customer requirements.

  • Supporting the development of risk mitigation and control plans for the product in the Business

  • Developing Risk and Benefits Cost analysis to present to the Product/Program Manager

  • Ensuring that all Penetration, Vulnerable assessment and Fuzz testing are completed

  • Conducting PSRA (Product Security Risk Assessments) for BU (Business Units)

  • Performing Product Security Audit and Compliance activities

  • Reporting on business specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Work with Product Managers, Field Marketing, Services and Sales to collaborate on Product Security topics, incident response and customer complaints.

  • Working with Quality and Regulatory on Product Security process and procedures in QMS (Quality Management System)

  • Supporting the Product and Security Services Office to drive security standards throughout the business.

  • Champion the importance of product security during the life cycle of products.

  • Developing and conducting information security training for product managers, program managers and architects.

  • Monitoring and communicating emerging security requirements as potential policy and guidance; works with the "various internal business and product security teams as needed to achieve policy and guidance clarity.

You are a part of:

Philips Group Security/Product Security team, supporting one of our core businesses. Assuring that we provide the highest-level guidance expertise in securing our products and providing best in class patient care with cutting edge, innovative products.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Biotechnology required MBA or Master’s degree (preferred)

  • CISSP Certified

  • System engineering, architecture & design

  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

  • Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)

  • Risk management and Incident Response

  • Perimeter protection and intrusion detection

  • Penetration testing and ethical hacking

  • Network and system administration

  • The position may include up to 25% domestic/ international travel to development and customer facilities.
