In this role, you have the opportunity to:
As a Test Equipment Development Engineer at Philips Oral Healthcare you are accountable for building a test equipment development competence in support of product verification activities at Philips Oral Healthcare. The resulting test equipment supports the development of fantastic oral healthcare products.
You are responsible for:
Translating test needs into test equipment requirements that describe the required functionality and performance on the tester.
You reach out to potential suppliers to obtain and compare quotes for tester development and manufacture and decide which supplier to proceed with.
You work with – and act as the local interface to - the selected supplier to review their progress during both the development and the manufacture phase all the way up to Factory Acceptance Testing [FAT].
You work with the supplier to complete Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification of the test equipment on site in order to complete Site Acceptance Testing [SAT].

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering.
8+ years’ experience in a product development environment
3+ years' experience developing equipment used in a development and or manufacturing environment
Experience using LabView for data acquisition [preferred]
