Philips Clinical Application Specialist Image Guided Therapy in Brussel (Bruxelles), Belgium


In this role you have the opportunity to

Your role as a Clinical Application Specialist Image Guided Therapy (IGT) is field facing and consultative where you must be able to engage in empathetic and compelling ways with customers in a pre and post sales environment. It is your challenge to develop a solid customer base and by maximizing customer satisfaction.

You are responsible for

  • Developing and executing an instruction program for the users, in order to maximize the independency of the user with regard to the operation of the system and choice of functions.

  • Customizing the system to the specific wishes of the users, in close contact with project management and account management, in order to maximize the performance for each specific user.

  • Taking care of implementation of trial installations (in cooperation with service, and/ or BIU), in order to get it working and to get the maximum information for evaluation by the product group.

  • Monitoring the use of each system, by regular contact with the users, in order to solve problems regarding the operation of the system or to adapt the system to changed user wishes.

  • Developing and executing an educational program for the users, in order to maximize the knowledge of the user with regard to the operation of the system and choice of functions in light of the specific clinical applications.

  • Taking care of demonstrations and presentations, where required, to stimulate the sales of the assigned equipment.

  • Keeping in close contact with the BIU, in order to increase/maintain the application knowledge and be timely informed about new developments.

  • Participating in the development of new functionality or the development of improved system settings via Customer Feedback Reports.

The Philips Healthcare Benelux Market Organization. The Philips BNL Healthcare Organization is the sales and service organisation with roughly 400 employees, with 135 active in Philips BeLux organization. You will be part of the BeLux Image Guided Therapy and CardioVascular solutions team and report into the business manager IGT.

Philips Image Guided Therapy is the global leader in Image Guided Therapy products, solutions and services.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A Clinical Application Specialist interventional Cardiology, Surgery and Radiology with a Bachelor Degree;

  • Experience in the Healthcare sector, preferable within the interventional Catlab environment;

  • Customer oriented;

  • Good Communication- and Negotiation skills;

  • Stress resistant and flexible;

  • Fluent French and English, basic Dutch is an extra but not mandatory.
