Philips Technical Consultant Healthcare Informatics in Brussel (Bruxelles), Belgium


In this role, you have the opportunity to

To provide direct support to customers by resolving telephone, remote or on-site malfunctions and as a Technical Consultant you are responsible for installing, implementing, integrating, updating & upgrading and maintaining system platforms.

You are responsible for

Remote Support Consultant (50%):

  • Providing Technical Support to customers as well as supporting internal Philips organizations, dealers, and distributors

  • Assessing complex technical and clinical problems, collecting data, establishing facts, defining an action plan, and driving the plan to resolution

  • Remote troubleshooting / maintenance of solutions on-site at a customer’s location

  • Performing remote software upgrades

  • Providing technical consultancy to our customers for their solution by analyzing the current implementation and matching this with best practices that meet customer requirements Technical Consultant (50%): The role requires working on several projects as part of the project team responsible for the successful delivery of these projects.

  • Understand and keep up to date with the technical requirements of the assigned products.

  • Define the technical responsibilities of the customer and prepare & assist with demonstrations.

  • Liaison with third parties on technical matters, testing the installed solution works technically and integration specification and configuration.

  • Work with customer to ensure the solution sits correctly within his technical environment and that remote links are

  • Attend site post go live in situations where Customer Care cannot resolve a problem remotely.

You are a part of

The Healthcare BeNeLux is a sales and maintenance organization with around 400 employees, You will become part of the Health Informatics division within this BeNeLux organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor Degree (BSc) –

  • You have preferably 3 years of experience in IT. Extensive experience in health care is an advantage, but experience gained in other sectors can also be a welcome addition to us

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows®, SQL and (network) protocols

  • Very good command of Dutch (primary), French (secondary) and English in word and writing

  • Willing to run standby services on a regular basis

  • Willing to perform service desk activities

  • Willing to work outside normal office hours when needed

  • Willing to travel (BeLux)
