Philips Associate Scientist - Computer Vision/AI for Medical Imaging in Cambridge, Massachusetts

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Make an impact on the future of image-guided therapy. You will define, coordinate, and drive research activities with a customer-centric approach that combines cutting-edge technologies into a clinical solution. This position will be located at the Philips Research North America Lab in Cambridge, MA.

You are responsible for

  • Designing, implementing, and testing algorithms, software and hardware prototypes

  • Leveraging your knowledge of imaging, image guidance in interventional and/or surgical environments including algorithms and devices.

  • Translating benchtop prototypes into pre-clinical and clinical use.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's with 2+ years of industry experience or Master's in Computer Science or Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

  • Experience with algorithm design and implementation.

  • Image registration, segmentation and analysis required.

  • Experience applying deep learning networks.

  • Strong programming skills in Python (Keras, Tensorflow, etc.), C++/C#

  • Previous experience with medical imaging (e.g. interventional x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT).
