Philips Government Field Marketing Manager (Boston) in Cambridge, Massachusetts


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop and deploy an integrated Government Virtual Connected Care messaging strategy anchored on Customer insights and outcomes tied to the VA and DOD core priorities.

You are responsible for

  • Develop the value propositions specific for VA, DOD and other Government entities in coordination with the BIUs and FM

  • Coordinate the necessary Virtual Connected Care portfolio training for Sales, Business Development, and Government Affairs

  • Identify target customer populations at the intersection of HISS, PM, PHM and eICU for Philips Virtual Connected Care solutions to deploy both customer preference campaigns and sales targeting

  • Develop the content, tools and sales approach in coordination with the applicable FM teams for consistency

  • Ensure coordinated customer approach with Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Government Affairs for messaging, digital campaigns, customer engagement strategies

  • Work with applicable BIUs, FM and Contracts to maximize the government product portfolio within Virtual Connected Care solution set as NPIs become available

  • Work with Product Security group to continuously develop and iterate business cases for compliance with Government Product Security requirements

  • Champion the evolving customer needs for future development or configurations with FM and BD

  • Provide Daily Management reporting for Virtual Connected Care solutions in government space, track progress and work with operations and sales + BD for any improvements to drive to results necessary in funnel and OIT

  • Develop adjacent content as needed for core customer set (example: White House Briefing, VA Strategic Partnership Briefing, etc.)

  • Support and develop promotions and pricing strategy as needed for bundles, large scale programs

  • Support Business Development with customer engagement strategy, market research, BIU engagement

  • Optimize Virtual Connected Care commercial capabilities and resources around agility, speed and impact and scale (business process and execution)

  • Work with BIUs and FM to ensure continuous alignment and deployment of combinations of virtual connected care solutions for the government space

You are a part of:

The Philips government field marketing team, reporting to the Director of Field Marketing.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, Government Affairs

  • 5 plus years of experience working within Healthcare Sales & Marketing, Federal & State Government

  • Organizational Skills, ability to work across multiple business units

  • Strong research and analytical background

  • Marketing experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, self-motivated and self-starter

  • Presentation skills with PowerPoint, Excel, Word; required
