In order to support Philips business growth identify strategic communication insights needs driving Philips brand engagement and growthand sets priorities/agenda accordinglyto as input for engagement, communication & content strategy. Proactively share audience communication insights with Engagement Strategy Leaders to help them anticipate trends and needs and facilitate the creation ofpowerful and winning content & campaigns for new and existing products and solutions. Nurture a test and learn culture in our consumer and customer obsessed organization, while driving optimization and evidence-based marketing, content & campaign decision-making with experimentation. Drive increased adoption of communication insights in Marketing’s decision-making through the use of multiple communication tools/channels (i.e., presentations, newsletters, intranet, trainings and workshops) to drive consumer obsessions and data driven decision making. Collaborate with marketing leaders to drive understanding of the customer decision journeys and communication patterns by collaborating with other Centers of Excellence.Enable Philips business growth by world class Communication and Engagement Insights development capabilities and drive thought leadership and adoption of innovative (AI powered) research tools to drive for real time insight development.
You are responsible for
Communication Insight generation & delivery
Deliver qualitative and quantitative communication insights that lead to best in class marketing communications campaign & content delivery
Track marketing communication; creative and media effectiveness and recommend actionable routes for improvement
Leverage Marketing Data Analytics team for predictive analysis around communication effectiveness and efficiency insights
Provide communication intelligence briefings on competitors as part of the Competitor Intelligence war games and insights
Manage cross campaign databases of marketing communication research, ensuring high quality, consistency and standardization so as to allow a read across of different projects
Deliver cross campaign insights that enable Philips marketing communication teams that help teams continuously improve marketing communication
Interpreting of communication research and act as a sparring partner for marketing/communication teams
Define measurement gaps, explore, evaluate and recommend new agile methodology solutions and continuously optimize existing methods
Improve methodology tool box to provide faster, deeper insights with higher ROI (lower costs) and ensure standardized approaches are used for communication testing and tracking that generate actionable insights, to understand the relevance and motivation of Philips and competitor communication with consumers and customers
Apply secondary sources such as the World Advertising Research Centre (WARC), IPA, ESOMAR amongst others and generate best practice case examples that drive improvement in marketing communications approach
Onboard new colleagues with the consumer testing framework to ensure smooth marketing process flow
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
BSc/MSc degree in marketing, business, communication
5+ years of relevant market research experience in quantitative and / or qualitative research. Proven skills in unearthing insights to drive communication strategy, campaign development including new business models and services.
Working experience in customer focused, complex, matrixed, multinational environment. Experience in HealthCare Industry is preferable
High affinity with AI powered consumer/ communication insight tools and engines, expertise andtechnical knowledge on emerging and innovative communication research techniques, and experimentation techniques
Broad and deep research experience across qualitative, quantitative and knowledge of how to apply agile research methods in the area of communication
