Philips Sales Engineer in Cambridge, Massachusetts

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work with the sales, marketing, and engineering teams to communicate effectively the product’s core capabilities both internally and externally. You will also be able to provide system-level expertise while interfacing with client IT organizations and program-management stakeholders.

You are responsible for

  • Learning the technical architecture of how our software works, what fundamental problems it solves for our clients and in turn being able to communicate in simple terms how it brings value to the clients we serve

  • Working with sales and marketing to devise technical depictions and documentation of the product, technical architecture and/or any other technical material for use in a sales or account management capacity with clients and prospective clients

  • Acting as the liaison between sales/marketing and product to help articulate as well as differentiate how our products solve complex problems and use cases for prospective clients

  • Taking on the role of a go-to technical resource for the sales team to bounce questions pertaining to existing product capability and high-level scope of incremental enhancements customers are requesting

  • Serving as the point of contact for client IT and information security teams, responding to their requests for product security and risk assessments and maintaining knowledge repository of collateral that can be used for such requests

  • Thinking creatively and with a problem-solving mindset on how to navigate technical customer requests or objections when raised in a sales meeting

  • Managing the library of product demonstrations to ensure that the sales team has the most up-to-date product functionality and is equipped to speak to any new features or technical enhancements that will drive value for clients

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required

  • 4+ years’ experience in the technology industry

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and speak to technology and technical aspects of a SaaS product

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving

  • Experience in Healthcare, HIPAA, and medical record integrations a plus
