Field Service Technician – Regina, Saskatchewan
We are in search for a dynamic Field Service Support Technician to provide exceptional technical support to customers within the Regina region supporting all Philips modalities.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to
Use your strong technical and customer service skills to provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment serving as a key customer contact on technical and service related problems as well as determining the most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)
Proactively conduct customer visits and communicate with customer at multiple levels to build satisfaction, credibility and trust.
Own customer experience by meeting onsite arrival time, communicating effectively and projecting a sense of urgency to achieve customer expectations.
Deliver an exceptional service experience to build customer loyalty (Customer Pulse) and meet the goal of being #1 in every modality.
Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions that will help to meet the needs of the customer. (i.e. Life Solutions, Valued Added Services and other corporate initiatives)
Identify and execute on customer service best practices within local Region and Zone.
Build relationships with customers, gain understanding of competitive environments, and identify opportunities for growth
Project a professional appearance in customer interactions that exemplifies the Philips brand and image
Develop and adhere best practices that enable the team to provide solutions for the customer.
Support effective interactions among team members (i.e. actively listen and seek to understand other's viewpoint; work together to get things done)
Support team development by allowing team members to volunteer for additional assignments to gain experience.
Offer assistance to peers and other teams in service delivery.
Provide constructive feedback to team in support of improved team performance and development.
Work within the CCT to understand how decisions and performance in the field affects financial and overall results.
Proactively work with CCT for scheduled absence/backups for Vacation Planning.
Provide Daily Installation Update log to ZIMs, PMs and Account Managers during installations
Perform all administrative duties in a complete manner within prescribed standards, policies and guidelines.
Complete and understand all training assigned through Training Management System (TMS) on or by due date.
Submit all time worked into the timekeeping tool within the required deadline
FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL:
Diagnose and resolve electronic and mechanical problems with minimal assistance.
Complete formal and informal training to gain and maintain knowledge of technical advances and current industry trends.
Understand and apply electronic and mechanical theory to diagnose and repair equipment including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment to
Utilize support and escalation resources (e.g. RTAC, Peers, and National Support Specialists) within required time frames to resolve customer and system problems timely and effectively.
To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
4 + years servicing Medical Equipment
Engineering technician or technologist diploma
Demonstrated repair and troubleshooting skills with imaging equipment (ULS, DXR, IGT, NM, MRI, CT) additional training as needed
Experience with Medical devices such as Patient Monitoring, Life Safety Devices, Ultrasound
Ability to participate in on-call rotation available to respond onsite 24x7 as needed; shift work day or work alternate shift to support customer schedules and service contracts.
Must be comfortable and prepare for ongoing travel
Experience with mechanical devices and tools and test equipment
Multi- tasker with the ability to work under pressure
Must possess demonstrated skills in using an oscilloscope, digital multimeter
Strong fundamentals of Dicom & Networking.
Experience with electronic circuit boards, processors and computer hardware including applications, programming and systems functionality
Proficient in Networking and Wireless systems
