In this role, you have the opportunity to
Supervise the Production team in our Carlsbad facility, while taking responsibility for the quality of the products produced, the production yield and the timeliness of the deliveries.
You are responsible for
Preparing and executing one or more manufacturing production processes to deliver safe, compliant, quality products and services to our customers.
Ensuring manufacturing performance, volume, quality and cost goals are met, by proactively identifying and resolving capacity and resource bottlenecks.
Executing and/or supporting projects, goals and metrics.
Initiating, sponsoring and driving production related continuous improvement efforts using LEAN methods.
Representing the production function in cross-functional projects and meetings.
Planning, scheduling and coordinating production-planning processes, utilizing expertise in Materials Resource Planning (MRP).
Setting production priorities to support customer delivery commitments, while overseeing availability of WIP and finished products in the manufacturing facility.
Training new hires and develop existing employees on all production lines.
You are a part of
The Monitoring and Analytics (MA) & Therapeutic Care business group, within the Connected Care & Health Informatics business cluster. Monitoring Analytics, is a software and solutions business encompassing patient monitoring and its capabilities. Our MA solutions reach more than 370 million people every year. You will be reporting to the Production Manager in Carlsbad, CA.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Associates Degree (required [Bachelor’s Degree – preferred])
5 + years’ experience in a supervisory role in Assemble-To-Order (ATO) manufacturing environment within a regulated industry (Medical Device, Pharma, Electronics, Food, etc.) (required)
Must possess advanced computer skills with MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred)
Must possess strong leadership skills, as well as, facilitation, motivation and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to resolve conflict situations.
