In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be a part of our Supply Chain industrialization team to conduct tactical purchasing activities, while driving and executing material plans with Supply Chain, Procurement and Suppliers.

You are responsible for

  • Identifying supply risks and issues, driving mitigation actions and escalate if needed.

  • Executing operational material planning through Purchase Order management.

  • Driving continuous harmonization and improvement of material supply processes ensuring Philips Global Processes execution.

  • Conducting inventory analysis and policy definition to secure material availability against minimum inventory investments and maintaining proper supply levels.

  • Key performance indicators include Cost of non-Quality (excess and obsolete inventory) and Customer Service Level/Delivery (fill rates/OTTR) and Supplier delivery performance.

  • Driving and implementing supplier managed and owned inventories.

  • Forecasting communication with suppliers, including validation.

  • Aligning and balancing material planning with production and demand planning.

You are a part of

The Monitoring and Analytics (MA) & Therapeutic Care Supply Chain OPS Logistics business group, within the Connected Care business cluster. The Connected Care business is bringing together monitoring and therapeutic devices, software and services to create smart solutions to deliver on the quadruple aim of value-based healthcare (improved health outcomes, improved patient experience, improved staff satisfaction and lower cost of care). You will report to the Production Manager.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (manufacturing, operations, business, supply chain, engineering)

  • 5+ years’ direct experience in purchasing (APICS certification a plus)

  • 5+ years working within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP system (SAP preferred)

  • Experience working in regulated/high volume industry (medical devices or pharmaceutical strongly preferred)

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, possessing strong communication skills and ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders (suppliers)

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, process and troubleshooting skills
