In this role, we are looking for:
A Senior Program Manager who has taken new medical devices from completion of R&D to a successful global market launch. Someone with the drive to learn and navigate through a multitude of cross functional layers typical in a large organization. This person must have experience in working with internal regulatory colleagues, hospital care providers, and external regulatory bodies. Someone who can develop a playbook for launching new products in the global market.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Close coordination with marketing, sales and service organizations to ensure a successful product introduction and launch;
Work closely with technical program manager and all other internal functions to ensure a clean transfer of the product from manufacturing floor to the clients;
Ensure all internal systems and processes are enabled and prepared for launching a new product;
Close coordination with hospitals to ensure their readiness to accept the new product;
Ensuring in-country registrations are in place;
Coordinate the setup of SAP and other business systems to receive and execute customer orders;
Ensure hospitals are identified and hospital/internal staff are trained to install and use the product;
Coordinate contracts and agreements are in place with identified customers;
Work closely with operations and service organization to identify correct composition of kitting, field replaceable units and appropriate stock levels required to meet any unforeseen situations;
Be the central point of contact for a successful new product launch. Track all necessary deliverables to ensure a smooth launch. Periodically report to senior management, the progress, risks and challenges; and
Collect customer feedback post product launch.

You will report to the Director of Program Management for Philips Hospital Respiratory Care (HRC) Business Unit (BU). The HRC team rolls up under Philips Therapeutic Care (TC) business. Our solutions are helping caregivers and lay responders both inside and outside the hospital. We are the number one provider of therapeutic care solutions, saving and improving more and more lives every year.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.);
10+ years of experience relevant to the job responsibilities;
Experience working in a hardware and software medical device regulated environment;
Experience working in a matrix organization;
Ability to establish relationships quickly with a broad range of constituents. Must possess a collaborative style to work effectively throughout the organization;
Ability to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitment toward goals and objectives;
Ability to influence actions and opinions of others in a desired direction, to exhibit judgment in leading others to worthwhile objectives;
Excellent leadership and interpersonal communications skills;
PMP certification preferred but not required;
Experience with team collaboration tools and project management fundamentals;
Ability to problem solve and pay attention to details; and
Must be proficient in MS Office Applications, MS Project and MS Visio.
