Philips RTR - BPE - Revenue accounting in Chennai (ex Madras), India


Design and model of processes

  • Collaborate in business transformations to provide support in diagnosis of processes within the revenue area, suggest proven practice solutions and ensure implementation of the suggested processes

  • Set up and engage network of Subject Matter Experts connected to specific process domain(s)

  • Design or contribute to design of the level 4-7 processes for the Revenue recognition for Project Accounting

  • Collaborate with Technical Accounting and Oversight to ensure that the contractual arrangements are accurately translated into an operational solutions

  • Collaborate with IT and EIM to drive selection design and configuration of right technology and data solutions in line with the requirements as confirmed with TAO

  • Help drive rationalization of the business models / contractual arrangements by providing insights in the end2end cost of new business models.

  • Ensure processes, IT and EIM solutions are working according to the requirements by providing test scenario’s and actual testing within the agile/scrum development teams

  • Ensure processes are well documented in the Philips Excellence Architecture Repository and Philips Excellence Quality System Execution of initiatives

  • Lead or support process/capabilities implementation projects and ensure processes/capabilities are implemented as designed

  • Mapping new contractual arrangements into operational solutions and ways of working.

  • Collaborate with Academy/University and drive the right learning interventions and User Learning Journeys consistent with overall Philips approach

  • Facilitate learning (competency development) and support end user documentation

  • Being a change agent by clarifying the linking impact of the new solutions and ways of working including the IT, data, people, process solutions.

  • Provide support in diagnosis of processes within the Revenue Recognition / Project accounting to perform process gap analyses, suggest enforce the selected best practice solutions and ensure compliance with the standardized suggested processes Monitor and Optimize

  • Execute capability maturity assessment, translate these into business (process) requirements and prioritize

  • Drive adoption and continuously monitor process performance, analytics and identify opportunities for improvement (level 4-7)

  • Collect and review process change and improvement proposals from the organization, bring forward relevant change proposals to the lead BPOs, support local improvements where necessary

  • Collect, document and share best practices from the transformations for re-use in next projects and into overall PEPF

  • Actively interact with other PCO’s to share knowledge on improvement practices
