Job Title: Site Operations – Quality Lead for Preethi factory

Job location: Chennai

Reports to: Head – Quality Manufacturing

You are responsible for

  • To develops, apply, revise and maintain quality standards in order to assure the quality for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.

  • To designs and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment.

  • To drive the improvement and implementation of Customer Feedback, CAPA programs -policies, procedures andtools,andtakeownership in deployment andtraining.

  • Totakethe necessary actions tosecureQAafterchanges in manufacturing and other supplychainareas.

  • ToleadtheQualityMonitoringteam,includingchairingthismeetings,distributingreportsandmanaging corrective actions.

  • To assist in supporting and improving the local Quality System, including QS document approval and Q&R Document Ownership.

  • To participate in, and give QA support to, the assigned productdevelopmentteams.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Factory CoNQ

  • Fall of Rate, CPPM

  • FCR

  • Manufacturing Quality Assurance maturity

  • Quality management system

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor of engineering with 10-15 years of experience

  • Knowledge of Quality principles, theories and concepts

  • Process FMEA

  • Solid Analytical skills - demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot complex process/system issues

  • QMS – lead auditor

Good to have:

  • Technical Knowhow of Mixer grinders as our 99% current production is MG only

  • Knowledge of applicable standard and Regulation

  • Understanding of local language to communicate effectively to Level 2 team
