You are responsible for;

You will join Philips as a Graduate Scientist

  • You will bring value to our organization by fulfilling a unique and flexible role in which you translate the vision of Philips into innovative developments.

  • You will support exploratory work, fast realization of prototypes, as well as effective product development.

  • You will apply your in depth knowledge to the most innovative connectivity solutions, integrated platforms and standards in combination with an Agile development approach.

  • You will use analytics and data to drive engineering activities around new product development and manufacturing.

You are a part of

The 2 year graduate scheme where you will have the opportunity to show your energy, knowledge and skills in Engineering. You will have strong support networks with managers, mentors and current graduates who are currently on the scheme.

Although you will be globally mobile, you will initially be based at our UK Respiratory Drug Delivery (RDD) office in Chichester, the leader in respiratory devices. The Philips RDD product range includes connected nebulizers, compressors and flow meters to name but a few. Besides working within your individual teams and cross functional groups, you will network with the wider organization. All new graduates are mentored by experienced colleagues and are paired up with engineers and managers who can help settle you into your new role and career

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;

  • You will have achieved a minimum 2:1 in a scientific discipline related degree (Bachelor or Masters)

  • Have long-term/career ambitions in scientific roles. In addition, you will possess first class communication, planning and organizational skills

  • You will demonstrate a high level of energy, drive and passion in pursuing work objectives and a total commitment to achieving successful outcomes.

  • You will be adaptable and socially confident, enabling you to build strong relationships quickly, which will be key to your success. In essence you will already be naturally demonstrating our behaviors of Eager to Improve and Inspire, Take Ownership and deliver fast, Team up to win, customer first and quality & integrity always. All of this will be evidenced by your strong academic results and extra curricula activities.

Recruitment Process
