Group Leader Product Research Center, Research Expertise Team

You are responsible for
Ensuring that you and your team strive for highest consumer satisfaction with our product development in Male Grooming.
You will develop your team to meet the challenging research plans, both internally and with external suppliers and support the innovation program accordingly, ensuring operational excellence in the execution. You are the owner of the consumer test facilities. Our consumer research center welcomes consumer engaging with and testing our products.
You are responsible for clear operational, functional and hierarchical responsibilities for your team, bringing consumer centric proposition to the market.
You are leading the research expertise team, incl. the sub teams of the consumer test center, panel management and sensory experts;
You will be an expert on methodologies supporting all consumer research requests; educate team members to gain internal confidence and spread best practices;
Lead innovative approaches to gathering consumer feedback, empower team members to innovate and explore new methodologies and encourage thought-leadership from every member;
You are safe guarding high quality study development and execution, with your team;
You are the first point of contact for external agency evaluation and relationships.
You are a part of
As a Group leader in the Product Research Center (PRC) department you report to the Consumer Research Manager. The Product Research Center (PRC) drives growing understanding of the consumer needs. The PRC focuses as part of a multidisciplinary team on development of the desirable product experience in Shaving, Grooming and Male Skin Care, by performing a range of explorative, qualitative and quantitative research with our own sensory panel or through external research agencies

You are challenged to take responsibility for your team and drive the transition towards becoming a true partner for the R&D organization that brings in the expertise and insights on consumer research.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience;
Master’s Degree in consumer or research oriented educations Human Technology, Psychology, Sensory Research, Marketing Research, Management Consulting, Statistics, Business, Mathematics, Economics or related field;
Deep knowledge (3-7 years’ experience) on consumer or market research, quantitative methodologies for consumer research, statistics and analytics;
Proven experience in leading and coaching a team, towards a continuous improvement mindset;
Good communication and influencing skills (stakeholder management internal & external);
Proactive attitude: you should be able to take the lead and proactively represent the end-user in our innovation processes;
Taking ownership, getting things done, embracing the agile mindset;
Speak Dutch or willing to learn Dutch.
