Philips Sales & Marketing Co-ordinator in Dublin, Ireland

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Philips Healthcare team as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator for our operations in Ireland. This is a crucial role as a high level of support is required by the General Manager and Account Managers. It will be important that the successful candidate is interested in Healthcare and with the ability to engage with many stakeholders internally within Philips and also with customers. Mainly office based role at Leopardstown Business Park, Dublin 18 (there may be some flexibility with this depending on the successful candidate). There will also be a requirement to provide some customer facing support in conjunction with sales colleagues.

This role is for 6 months and could be a great secondment opportunity for someone who is looking to broaden their experience within Philips healthcare.

You are responsible for

  • Pricing analysis and creation of service quotations

  • Attend relevant exhibitions as well as organise Philips events (conferences, hospitality, modality specific events)

  • Point of contact when calls come directly into Philips Healthcare Ireland office

  • Front up marketing initiatives eg creation of brochures, arranging photo shoots and testimonials, brand development.

  • Communication with various colleagues with the objective of rapid resolution of problems and acceleration of response to “get things done”·

  • Supporting Account Managers on various aspects of bids eg organising site visits, getting quotes though the system, arranging internal and customer events

  • Various ad hoc administration support including tender support

  • Producing various reports through salesforce

You are a part of the Philips healthcare team Ireland and will support mainly the Account Managers and General Manager.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Individual with outstanding potential to grow

  • Experience with supporting the quotes and tenders process

  • Inquiring mind with interest in Healthcare

  • Individual who will get emotionally involved in the business and show empathy to customers and colleagues

  • Strong IT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft and ability to create excellent presentation material (experience in salesforce would be beneficial but not necessary)

  • Ability to quickly grasp the rudiments of a large range of highly complex technologies in order to be able to engage with customers in a meaningful way

  • Flexiblilty and the ability to meet challenging deadlines
