Currently we have the opportunity for a Tender and Quote Specialist to join our team in Cairo, Egypt and be responsible for Responsible for executing all operational activities for Time and Material.

You will report to the CCC/CS Manager North East Africa

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Perform, as an experienced specialized Quote Support Officer, assignments that require broad consultation of specialists to get a clear view on WHAT has to be delivered and complex analysis of the available quoting data in order to decide HOW to best carry out the assignment.

  • Find solutions by involving quoting data from multiple resources using Root Cause Analysis.

  • Take initiative and identifies problems in actual way of working, formulates alternatives and recommendations.

  • Develop and introduce new quoting support sub-processes and improves existing processes.

  • Initiates & runs small quoting support improvement projects.

  • Act as an informal resource or (functional) supervisor for less experienced colleagues.

Quote Specialist:

  • Answer customer calls and register them in the service management system.

  • Create service work orders.

  • Manage the progress of the customer call and escalate if service levels are in danger.

Time & Material (T&M) quote creation

  • Create a T&M quote based on requested services from a customer.

  • Send the approved T&M quote to the customer.

Order Closure

  • Manage work in progress by reviewing the status of all service work orders and take appropriate actions to push service work orders to the next status.

  • Review the service work order when it has the status Accepted.

  • Follow up until Time & Material Invoice issued.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (in business administration or finance back ground).

  • 3+ years’ experience in public quote and tenders (medical devices and equipment preferred)

  • Self-driven and pro-active, with very good communication skills and customer attitude

  • Developed analytical thinking skills with an eye for detail

  • Computer literacy essential and experience in MS office applications

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written in addition to local language
