In this role, you have the opportunity to be part of Philips Commercial Supply Chain, reporting into the EU MDR PMO office for Supply Chain /OPS and directly to the Head of QA & Quality Ops.
The EU MDR BPE Supply Chain ensures that EU MDR requirements have been addressed in the commercial Supply Chain in an effective and efficient way. You will be responsible for interpreting the applicable EU MDR requirements in the Supply chain context. You also will be working with the applicable E2E BPEs and SC Process engineers to come to workable solutions and processes in the commercial supply chain so that Philips can fulfill its economic operator obligations as mandated by the EU MDR regulation. This is a highly analytical role, which also demands a good portion of creative ingenuity to come up with workable solutions for the Philips Commercial Supply chain.
You are responsible for:
Your key responsibilities are in the domain of the Philips Commercial Supply Chain, working together with the E2E BPE community, SC Process engineering, Business Units as well with the Customer Fulfillment Center and Q&R.
Ensure proper analysis of EU MDR requirements and impact on Commercial Supply Chain processes;
Be the process expert on supply chain processes and the economic operator verification activities that needs to be embedded in these processes E2E;
Create and co-develop solutions that will address EU MDR requirements in a compliant manner.
To succeed in this role:
Bachelor’s degree logistics, industrial engineering, business administration
5 + years of working experience in a regulated industry – medical devices, Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace or automotive
Work experience within a business setting preferable
Experience with quality systems, quality tools and methodologies and business process management
Analytical and eager to dive deeper into matters
Ability to think out of the box and adapt to commercial context
Self-starter and self-directed, capable of working with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate well, oral and written in English
