You are responsible for
As the Business Information Owner for the solutions business model cross I2M, M2O and O2C and related data domains (Product, customer service, finance, customer, vendor).
You own and drive the governance and design of the enterprise information models and data management processes in an integrated manner, securing fulfillment of strategic business model solutions goals and act as the main contact point from Enterprise Information Management towards the Solutions programs and Business Process Owners.
You drive the implementation, use and adherence of the defined data design and governance, delivering ultimately data integrity and standardization cross processes and IT systems, in close cooperation with relevant data domain owners and experts.
You gather information related requirements and support shaping them in a two-way continuous cooperation with Business Process Owners network (BPOs) including business process and regulatory requirements. You secure approvals and lead the change control process on data models directly or via the Business Information Experts (BIEs) from the relevant data domains.
You are accountable for the target information models definition - including master & transactional data-, regulatory and standardization controls, including data quality, end-to-end consistency, as well as data management processes and the documentation in the correct methodology who is responsible for what.
You are accountable for the functional mapping of value sets, data migration strategy, cleansing and migration rules definitions, engagement with business for data preparation and business validation in the context of data migration projects, guiding the dedicated Data Domain functional experts from the transformation programs.
You partner up effectively with IT, to make sure data flows, data models and related controls are implemented as designed;
You contribute to the E2E master data management roadmap, for the data attributes related to the business model solutions ; This includes data flows and data hub strategy and plan, and secure execution in line with the strategy, in close cooperation with IT architecture, the BPO community, the business and the EIM Product BIO´s and MDM product owners.
You foster a culture of data excellence and standardization on the agreed data models and data management processes through active stakeholder management at all levels in the organization, linking with business data stewards and EIM data services, to supervise the continuous improvements activities for your data domain.
You are a part of
The Enterprise Information Management department is part of the IT organization (enabling function), accountable to govern data across the enterprise, support business transformation on data and information through data, process, reporting and analytics design, data preparation, migration and validation activities, as well as providing continuous operational services on enterprise data serving markets, businesses and functions.
In the EIM organization, you report into the Head of Data Governance; The data governance team is composed of Business Information Management (Owners and experts), EIM process Experts, and Compliance and quality assurance. At the ramp-up of the program you are driving directly Business Information Experts on the agreed deliverables and reporting to you.
You will collaborate with Business product managers, IT solution architects, Business Process owners and Business Process Experts.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Have a Master degree and 10+ years of working experience in at least 2 of the 3 business processes areas I2M-M2O-O2C e.g. Innovation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain management, commercial catalogue management, Lead and opportunity management.
Have a demonstrated data management experience e.g. operations, migration, governance, design
Have experience in a B2B discrete industry with solutions business model, strong regulations, strong configuration component in the commercial process; medical systems/medical devices industry is a strong preference.
Deep Business process knowledge in Market to Order, Innovation to market or Order to fulfillment to Cash, solution, IT architecture
Solid data related application knowledge in SAP is a must, as well as good understanding of applications cross master data domains : customer, finance, product and customer service
Deep knowledge of data and information that is generated and required for Innovation to Market, Market to order and Manufacturing & Supply Chain processes, with a confirmed multi year track record in leadership roles driving master data requirements definition and consulting;
Solid experience in managing a broad range of senior stakeholders including strong communication skills to challenge and influence your counterparts, having demonstrated thought leadership skills to craft, maintain and systematically apply cross data domain models and governance in cross-functional, worldwide business processes.
Demonstrated skills of being Influential in complex change programs and effectively coordinate many changes going on in different programs in parallel.
