In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive the overall business strategy and the execution of Philips Medication Management Services for the Benelux. You will activate your network to connect external partners and ensure the estimation of business potential, pursue opportunities and conclude business deals to drive profitable growth in revenues for Philips.
The strategy is translated into an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with clear targets and a Medication Management marketing plan, with all upstream and downstream marketing aspects. You monitor performance, develop and execute corrective actions when necessary to achieve on AOP-commitments
You are responsible for
Driving business strategy creation, identify & develop opportunities and drive execution for medication management (Philips Spencer and wider Aging&Caregiving portfolio) to create significant growth in this market and to capture value for the Benelux Health Systems market organisation.
Interaction with a large variety of in-and external stakeholders across the Philips organization (incl. interface with the Business Group/M2O) and 3th Parties
Strategic thought leadership as a partner to the Benelux market team
Managing the business including financial performance and P&L. Execute the AOP.
Drive business development with a 1 till 2 years’ horizon in general and 3 months planning horizon in specific (e.g. ROFO, funnel management, corrective action plans)
Monitor, improve and analyze a healthy project funnel in close cooperation with our indirect partners.
Develops pricing strategies in line with the commercial policy. Monitor market prices, define price realization targets and execute the pricing framework.
Drive insights through market analytics: develop business intelligence on emerging industry trends; provide feedback on product requirements and competition; provide outlook on market size, growth and market share
Develops Benelux go-to-market strategies (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, Portfolio definition, pricing, and promotion) to drive profitable growth (in line with Q&R requirements) and demand generation
Owns the development and implementation of the marketing plan for Medication Management and translating the marketing strategy into tangible deliverables (online and other media)
Conduct win/loss analyses to examine reasons for success and failure
Support new services/product launches
Drives continuous improvements applying LEAN to improve Market to Order
You are a part of
You will enter a team of passionate and driven professionals in the Philips Healthcare Market Benelux organization and you will report to the Head of Strategy, Innovation & Implementation.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor/Master’s degree (e.g. Business Management with Healthcare Management specialization) with 8+ years relevant customer facing experience in or around the Home Care environment.
Able to act on Board of Management and to strongly relate to Home Care professionals, Third parties and within the Philips organization at all levels. Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
Good understanding how Home Care and medication management is managed in combination with an established network with Home Care provider organisations.
Strong consultative selling skills
Strong business management acumen
Experience with P&L management incl. revenue and margin management
Experience as an integrator in a dynamic market and /or matrix organization
Experience in people management and managing diverse teams
Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
Experience with leading a cross functional team
Strategic marketing & marketing analysis (understanding approach & tools)
Preferably basic medical knowledge
Able to drive continuous improvement via LEAN
Speak and write Dutch & English
