Philips Business Process Owner Trade Compliance Dangerous Goods in Eindhoven, Netherlands


In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop, implement and drive continuous improvements of the standardized business capability and business rules for Dangerous Goods in accordance with international laws, directives and regulations.

Use you change management skills on global implementation projects and your knowledge on trade compliance systems around Dangerous Goods.

You are responsible for

  • Deployment and adherence of Dangerous Goods international laws, directives and regulations across Markets and Business for the Integrated Supply Chain to ensure safe and unhampered goods flows across the globe.

  • Leading structural improvements via Lean management, PDCA's and KPI's

  • Disseminate laws and regulations and develop guidelines and directives

  • Establish a strong relationship with relevant stakeholders in the deployment process and adoption of the processes, procedures and systems.

  • Drive process decisions and detailed process design relevant for SAP EH&S in Philips Integrated Landscape or Blue Heart.

  • Drive the planned implementation of SAP EH&S for the handling of Dangerous Goods.

  • Develop and deploy onboarding/training and ensuring the knowledge/capabilities regarding Dangerous Goods are in place, train and support a variety of cross-functional teams for their effective use.

  • Provide guidance on Dangerous Goods related processes and procedures towards the extended Integrated Supply Chain organization.

  • Conduct audits on the broader Trade Compliance requirements on site level.

You are a part of

the global integrated supply chain trade compliance group for Royal Philips and report directly into the head of the department

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 10 years of experience within trade compliance

  • Profound knowledge on International Dangerous Goods regulations

  • Working on project work or implementations with SAP SD/MM and SAP EH&S

  • Project management capabilities, proven track record on global project implementations

  • Strong background in Lean management

  • Experience with site audits

  • Willingness to travel 20% of your time

  • Using the data to identify potential risks and propose effective solutions

  • Strong Leadership skills in an international environment

  • Eager to embrace change and come up with more effective ways of working

  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization
