In this role, you have the opportunity to
Lead a key department of Innovation Site Eindhoven where products, solutions and services are developed for Philips Beauty, Mother & Child Care and Aging & Care Giving. The Innovation Site Eindhoven is the main development site for medical consumer devices.
You are responsible for
The leadership of 30+ test & verification specialists, including:
Recruitment, coaching and appraisal of team members;
Team building and employee engagement;
Competence development, in line with needs of the businesses;
Ensuring the quality and efficiency of the output of the team.
Review and approval functional documents/deliverables according to the Quality Management System.
Allocation of resources to activities and projects.
The support the businesses and projects as a business partner in test & verification
The establishment and maintaining functional procedures, guidelines and tools, incl. process areas in the Quality Management System
Creating and driving the functional continuous improvement program for the test and verification function
Building and fostering the internal network with related functions, such as system architects and projects leaders
The introduction of continuous improvement projects of the Innovation Site and Businesses

It focuses on the development of medical and non-medical lifestyle products in the areas of Mother & Child Care, Beauty and Aging & Care Giving. The Site is responsible for the development, realization and maintenance of new product propositions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
A university degree in a relevant technical field amended with relevant education in Test and Verification
Technical understanding combined with people managing skills and change management attitude
Experience with medical device development
Passion and drive to fully engage with the product development teams
Conceptual, data driven, analytically strong and also hands-on
A strong leader and a team player as excellent communicator and motivator you are skilled in managing interpersonal processes
Courageous and able to continuously challenge the status quo, with a strong desire to improve organizational effectiveness structurally
