In this role, you have the opportunity to grow the innovation capability @Philips. The foundation to deliver meaningful innovations.
You are responsible for
Co-deliver DfSS Black Belt and Green Belt Training;
Coaching Black Belt/Green Belt candidates to certification and the successful completion of their projects;
Work with DfSS team to update and maintain training materials;
Actively participate in Global Philips DfSS community & promote DfSS in R&D community;
Working on projects to keep hands on quality engineering experience and stay updated with latest innovation development (approximately 25% of the time).

DfSS is a critical innovation capability for Innovation professionals to successfully carry out Innovation initiatives at various stages of Innovations e.g. Research & Development. Therefore, driving DfSS as capability development within Innovation domain is part of the foundation for Innovation success. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Passionate about applying DfSS in Innovation domain - Design for Quality; Willing to stay as a longer term commitment (e.g. 3 - 4 years) to make a meaningful impact;
R&D background and mindset with knowledge of product and software development. Working experience with Medical regulated environment is preferred;
A certified DfSS Black Belt and willing to further develop towards Master Black Belt certification ;
A talented (natural) trainer, be able to explain complex concept in the easy to understand terms, able to catch people's attention;
Coaching skill, be able to coach Black Belt/Green Belt candidates to certification and successful completion of their projects;
Strong team player, understand this is a team effort to run a successful training and be able to work with team of experts to continue to innovate DfSS training content to match Philips Innovation ambition. Willing to adapt;
Willing to travel 20 percent: deliver trainings, onsite support. Primary location: Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
